Traditional magnetron-based generators are outdated, require a lot of energy and give inconsistent results. The future of cooking and drying now lies in RF solid state generators; providing many positives over traditional methods. The main advantages can be grouped into the following four categories:
1. Precise control
The precise control solid-state cooking and drying gives means that hot and cold spots that appear in conventional cooking methods are eliminated. This means energy is more evenly distributed and a more consistent end result is achieved.
2. Reduced heating time
RF technology is up to 20 times faster at heating because the heat is generated internally. Using a lower temperature than alternative methods (30-45 degrees Celsius), this technology helps to preserve key chemicals/nutrients in natural ingredients, resulting in a healthier final product.
Finally, as the ambient air is not heated, there is a simpler heat transfer system, resulting in a smaller sized oven and reduced floor space needed.
3. Environmentally friendly
Our technology is up to 80% more efficient than others, using 1/5th of the energy other cooking and drying methods need.
This also results in a lower energy, more cost-effective solution, and positively contributes to net zero objectives.
4. Ease of use
Aided by our Machine Learning (ML) system, the technology is extremely intuitive and user friendly. Settings can be programmed for regularly cooked/dried items, and the system will learn from similar programmes to devise new programmes which would be suitable with the outputs requested.
